Medical researcher, entrepreneur and pianist
Dr. Zaki Allal is a medical researcher, entrepreneur and pianist. After a stint at Oran University, Harvard, Oxford and Stanford, he became the ambassador of the University of Singularity (Google University) for France. He directs his entrepreneurship and innovation competition there, and chairs the selection jury. Dr. Zaki Allal also founded a biotechnology start-up specializing in the conservation of human organs for medical transplantation Organ Preservation Alliance, based at NASA’s research center in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. He has also advised and coached several start-ups specializing in medical and surgical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological devices. Zaki has also recorded a piano album entitled “Celestial”, and has given several concerts in Algeria around the world, including in the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York, and Steinway Hall in London.
